World Communion 2009
Our church had for some time a steady connection to some church-related institutions in the West Bank of Palestine. After a trip there I was inspired to devote this installation to themes of that region. The runners on the altar are Palestinian embroidery. The woodcarving of Jesus teaching is olive wood from the same region.
