Wood Gnomes
Intrigued by some cherry pieces in my stash, I decided to highlight the gnomish figures I saw in them. I carved them into niches in two pieces of maple to create a little art piece for the exhibition “SweetART,” in 2012. They still hang around our house, since I may be the only want who delights in their demure presence.
