Wisdom’s Table
Lady Wisdom presides over a communion table. There are many connections between Jesus and Wisdom. He is often seen as an embodiment of Wisdom. The quotation parallels the story in Matthew 22 and Luke 14 of sending servants out to bring in strangers to the banquet. The pillars refer to Proverbs 9, which describes Wisdom building a house of seven pillars. The characters around the table include our children, family members, and other characters to suggest inclusiveness. Second from the left is Mark, third from the left Aaron, sixth from the left is Aneliese.
