Winter Gardens #7:
Dream of Summer
A damaged hand-painted bowl became the raw material for this work. The painted design on the bowl is suggestive of Chagall’s paintings of a woman with flowers flying over a village landscape. After further breaking the bowl apart, I set it into a mosaic landscape of grass, flowers, and midnight sky. 22″ x 14″ 2007
