The Gospels

These four Gospel panels were made for First United Methodist Church, Waynesville, in 2002. I designed them and made them with several women who helped with the cutting and painting. They are the first of my papercuts to be painted and are painted similarly on both sides, so as to be visually presented to both the congregation in front and the choir and clergy from behind.  4′ x 10′  2002
