Resurrection Crucifix

This little piece is yet another of my attempts to reinterpret the Christian idea of resurrection in a way I find more helpful and positive. The fabrics are bits of hand-printed cotton from India with bits of silk making an exploded rose over the figure Christ. 24″ x 24″  1992
