Questions Hard at the Door
This stage of the journey in seminary is shown in two panels. Once underway, the students often found that the path was not smooth. Faith positions they had held dear were being questioned and explored. The communion cup is shown spilled. It is a time of doubt as well as discovery. It was not unusual for relationships to be stressed or broken, as shown by the broken wedding rings. The shapes are sharp and angular and the color is purple. It is meant to be used during the winter season and Lent. 16″ x 60″ 1999
