Macedonian Vision

This was commissioned by the Needham Congregational Church, in Needham, Massachusetts, for the retirement of their pastor, the Rev. Paul Clayton. This piece suggests the Macedonian landscape and is meant to recall the words “Come over and help us,” in Acts 16, which is Paul’s favorite passage. It is enclosed by an arch to recall the stone arches of ancient times. It hangs from a branch taken from the woods around Andover Newton Theological School, where he studied and served as a Trustee. 20″ x 20″  1999
