Fundamental Things

This is the first tapestry I wove, in a class taught by Isabella Asratyan in Atlanta. I had no idea about how the complexity of the design would complicate the weaving. The “fundamental” things referred to are two-fold: shapes, that is circle, square, and triangle, and a suggestion of something cosmic built from those fundamental things. 12″ x 24″ 1993
