Coffee Table

I made this for our son Aaron from a slab of walnut cut from an old tree that a local contractor had been asked to bury in a landfill. He generously offered to bring it over to me for cutting by a friend with a portable sawmill. The wood’s strong figure and “imperfections” have shown up in several of my pieces.
