O Gracious God,
From the oven of your justice
we bring forth the bread of life.
From the harvest of your mercy we pour out the nectar of salvation.
With thanksgiving we remember all the trials of your saints --
for Miriam and Esther, for Peter and for Paul.
With gratefulness we now recall the life you gave in Jesus, for the faith you
lit in Mary's eyes, the hope you light in ours.
With all your citizens in every land we lift our voices up in praise, recalling
once again the mystery of our faith: (Christ has died, Christ is risen, Christ
will come again.) AMEN
