Broken for You (2005)
The focal point of Broken for You is a broken communion plate, intersected by a green and gold cross. The healing possibilities of the green cross are revealed through the fractures of the plate. Surrounding the cross and plate are other vestiges of brokenness. The red incursion reminds us of the suffering involved in all brokenness. A gold halo and other small luminous objects provide a sense of hope, not only of healing but of joyful life.
