Centering Prayer

God of the Mountains, God of the Valleys, God of the Desert Sands,
Walk with us this hour, dwell among us, set your table in our midst, so that we might share in your Wisdom, live in your Spirit, and walk with each other into your new Creation.

Luke 6: 27-31

"But I say to you that listen, Love your enemies, do good to those who hate you, bless those who curse you, pray for those who abuse you. If anyone strikes you on the cheek, offer the other also; and from anyone who takes away your coat do not withhold even your shirt. Give to everyone who begs from you; and if anyone takes away your goods, do not ask for them again. Do to others as you would have them do to you.

O Founding Spirit,

A Prayer for God's Future

O God of hope, help us live by Your hope.

O God of wisdom, help us live by Your truth.

May your justice abound where evil prevails,
May your reason shine where fear has made us blind,
May your spirit of love melt the bondage of pride,
So that this little circle of friends is taken up in the Great Republic of your peace.
